CHAN KWAN HOE is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice group. He
holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Sheffields and a
Masters in Law (LLM) from the University College London. He is also a Barrister-at-Law from
Lincoln’s Inn and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003.
Kwan Hoe’s main area of practice is corporate banking, syndications, project financing and capital markets financing. His work covers conventional financing as well as financing under Shariah principles. He has advised on the issuance of private debt securities by local and foreign issuers in Malaysia and the issuance of asset-backed securities involving the securitisation of property and receivables in Malaysia.
